Silica Gel Beads

Silica Gel is an amorphous form of silicon dioxide, which is synthetically produced in the form of hard irregular granules (having the appearance of crystals) or hard irregular beads. A micro porous structure of interlocking cavities gives a very high surface area.
Whilst most frequently used in packets, silica gel has a number of applications in its loose form. These include use in transformer and breather units, desiccators, the constuction of double glazed windows and for flower drying. Our loose silica gel beads are available in different mesh sizes and packaged in convenient resealable zip lock bags and pails. 
 

Silica Gel Beads Blue Indicating

The blue silica gel beads we supply are auto-indicating - the blue indicator beads change from Blue (when active), to Pink when it is no longer active (saturated). Available in, 2.5, 7.5 and 15 kg Pails
